Biography

I am admitted to practice law in New York State and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and limit my practice to U.S. immigration and nationality laws, helping individuals, employers and organizations meet their family unity, employment, education, citizenship, compliance, refuge and protection goals since 1990.

Since 1994, I have been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). I am also a member of the National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild, the Albany County Bar Association and the Albany County Women’s Bar Association.

In November 2018 I was appointed to a five-year term as a member of the Committee on Character and Fitness of the Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department. In November 2023 I was reappointed to a second five-year term on the Committee.

I have participated as a panelist and speaker throughout the Capital District, as an invited leader for training sessions by the New York Immigration Coalition, and have made numerous presentations to organizations, employers, educational institutions and houses of worship. I support the work of Capital District organizations including The Legal Project and the Capital Region Immigration Collaborative and am committed to community involvement.
